Khwaja Bashir Ahmad & Company (Pvt) Ltd (KBC) was incorporated on February 20, 2004 and was primarily formed to setup solvent extraction plant with paid up capital of Rs. 200,000,000. Khwaja Bashir Ahmad & Company (Pvt) Ltd owned by Mr. Khawaja Mehboob Ur Rehman and his family members, of which Mr. Khawaja Mehboob Ur Rehman holds 99% of the shares and remaining 1% of the shareholdings resides with other family members.
In 2008, the three units of Khwaja Bashir Ahmad & Company – AOP namely Liaquatpur, Ahmadpur East and Lodhran have been merged in this company through a vending contract. These units are engaged in the business of cotton ginning, pressing and oil mills. Latterly, KBC had slod out its two ginning units located at Liaquatpur and Ahmadpur East.
KBC started operation in July 01, 2008 and engaged in manufacturing of edible crude oil and meal of high quality of all types of seeds like canola, sunflower, soyabean, rape seed, etc. and also in the business of cotton ginning, pressing and oil mills.
During the course of time, Mr. Khawaja Mehboob Ur Rehman has undertaken several expansion including the major overhauling has been made and plant was upgraded to the latest technology in financial year 2020 which reduces cost of production significantly on account of utility bills and labour cost. In assembly line, 3 old seed expellers were also replaced with 2 new and advanced seed press of daily crushing of 100 MT each and 1 seed processor of daily crushing of 50 MT in that year. Some new techniques have also been incorporated by adding 3 refine filters that reduces the refining loss of edible oil and produces high quality of edible oil.
The company is also well established in trading and import of edible oil, oil seeds and cotton. As said above the daily crushing capacity of all types of seeds (Imported and local) has been enhanced from 180 MT to 250 MT.
